Lord Arthur Savile's Crime

From a short story by Oscar Wilde. Play by Constance Cox.

Dollar Drama Club's next production will be "Lord Arthur Savile's Crime", to be performed in Dollar Academy's Studio Theatre on the 23rd to 26th October 2024.
This full-length comic play is set in the London home of Lord Arthur Savile in the 1890s.
Lord Arthur is engaged to Sybil Merton, but Sybil's mother has doubts about Arthur. She uses unconventional means to look into Arthur's past... and his future! What will be discovered, and what can Arthur do about it?

Did you know?

Dollar Drama Club has performed this play before! It was in 1979, so we thought it was okay to do it again. One member of the previous cast appears in this production, but this time he's playing a different part; 45 years ago Stephen Lambert played Lord Arthur Savile.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals began on 1st July 2024.

Tickets

Tickets are available to reserve by emailing dollardrama@gmail.com saying how many tickets you'd like and for which night. They can then be collected and paid for at the venue on the performance night.
Alternatively, tickets can be reserved by text or phone on 07795 557544.
Tickets cost 12 pounds for adults or 8 pounds for children under 16. We now accept card payments as well as cash.
Because tickets are reserved for you, please let us know if you need to cancel them. There is no cancellation charge, and it allows other people to enjoy the show.
