Lord Arthur Savile's Crime

Dollar Drama Club are delighted to announce our next production, to be performed in Dollar Academy's Studio Theatre on the 23rd to 26th October 2024.
Oscar Wilde's full-length play is set in the London home of Lord Arthur Savile in the 1890s.
Lord Arthur is engaged to Sybil Merton, but Sybil's mother has doubts about Arthur. She uses unconventional means to look into Arthur's past... and his future. What will be discovered, and what can Arthur do about it?

Dollar Drama Club has performed this play before! It was in 1979, so we thought it was okay to do it again. One member of the previous cast appears in this production, but he's playing a different part this time. Forty-five years ago Stephen Lambert played Lord Arthur Savile.
